Typical Well Control projects include:

• Relief well drilling for kill of surface or subsea blowouts
• Shallow gas or water flow evaluation and kill
• Complex kick handling or kill of cross-flows
• Dynamic kill by snubbing or bullheading wells to regain control

Well control problems can be split into 3 categories:

• Level 1 Can be handled locally using standard procedures
• Level 2 Can-not be handled using standard procedures
• Level 3 Blowouts to surface, broached and crater blowouts
