Deepwater Horizon well-kill firm to open Houston office

A Norwegian firm involved in stopping the Macondo Gulf of Mexico well leak is establishing a Houston office.

The company, add energy group, is launching add energy LLC, a subsidiary that offers dynamic well-kill services to local offshore oil companies. The new branch is the company’s first North American office and will serve markets in North America, South America and the Gulf of Mexico.
