The management system in add energy is called AIMS (add energy’s integrated management system). It is a flowchart based and software supported system.
AIMS has three main objectives:
One of the key functionalities in AIMS is the open invitation and low-threshold possibility to post comments and improvement proposals via built-in features inside the application. In addition there is always the opportunity to go via any leader, to the personnel safety representatives (in Norway: verneombudsordningen) or to the Group HSEQ Manager. It is important to add energy as a group to make use of our highly qualified and experienced personnel to maintain a management system that moves us forward and adds value to the services we deliver.
We in add energy is the top level document in AIMS, presenting an extract of the management system and it’s structural basis. Main components are:
The top level rules laid down by the Board for the Company
A collection of statements describing the ambitions and core values of the company - our culture
Verbal fundamental description of matters where it is not beneficial to present the content as a flow diagram
The preferred method used to convey descriptions to the employees on how to conduct our business on a day to day basis.
The flowchart based system uses roles to identify who is responsible for the various activities in a work process. The roles will be assigned to positions in the current organization so that the organizational structure can change without affecting the work processes. In addition there will be additional detailed procedures, guidelines, learning material and user handbooks that are not presented as flowcharts. These are found in archives maintained by the various companies and departments. Also, there will be a transition phase while the new entities (currently add ips and add isrm) operate within corporate requirements down to the work processes. On the work process level and details below they will use their local management system.
