NEMS Forecaster®

The tool is based on a calculation method which uses a field's oil and gas production, injection and delivery forecasts as input, together with relevant technical specifications for boilers, engines and turbines on the field.

NEMS Forecaster® is custom-made to prepare environmental data input from the operators to the annual Norwegian Revised National Budget (RNB). This software is an efficient tool for quick effect simulations of emissions and energy demand by changing the relevant technical input which is specific to various development concepts.

• The tool consists of a simulation module, which may be linked seamlessly to a database.
• The database makes it possible to store vast quantities of data, including technical scenarios and all other relevant input data. It also opens for aggregation of output data.
• The tool offers decision-making support for trading with greenhouse gas quotas.
