Environmental Documentation of Chemicals (HOCNF)
According to Norwegian and international legislation, chemicals that will or may be discharged to sea must undergo eco-toxicological documentation in the form of HOCNF (Harmonized Offshore Chemical Documentation Format).

Through the KPD Center, HOCNF data are entered into a database (NEMS Chemicals™). The database has been developed and is also operated by add energy, on behalf of the operators on the Norwegian Shelf.
